Front Desk

I work at our front desk and schedule appointments. The most important part of my job is interacting with all our patients and making them feel welcome in our family here at Bonafield Orthodontics.

I like getting to know our patients and their families. It’s enjoyable to become friends while helping people achieve amazing new smiles! Among my duties, I submit medical card insurance claims and run the monthly ACH payments.

Working with Dr. Bonafield and my coworkers feels like having a second family. We care about each other and, more importantly, we care about you!

Much of my free time is spent with my family. I have five children and three grandchildren. We enjoy the outdoors, visiting amusement parks, and relaxing at the beach.

Treatment Coordinator / Certified Clinical Orthodontic Assistant / Front Desk

I really love all aspects of my job, but my absolute favorite is seeing the end result of treatment and those wonderful smiles our patients love to share!

Everyone here is truly devoted to our patients and building great relationships during treatment. We promise to give you the very best treatment for your very best smile!

Outside of my job, I enjoy gardening and yard work, and value time with friends and family. I have two sons and two daughters, as well as two dogs.

Certified Clinical Orthodontic Assistant / Lab Technician

I love seeing our patients at the end of treatment: They have new smiles, and with that, they have newfound confidence! I  I spend my days putting on braces, changing wires, and delivering retainers. I also assist Dr. Bonafield with orthodontic procedures such as complex adjustments and taking braces off. 

I work with lab representatives to ensure all appliances are personally tailored to provide quality treatment to each patient. Everyone at our office loves what we do: We have fun creating beautiful smiles and look forward to creating yours!

Beyond the office, I spend a lot of time with my husband, our son, and our two family dogs. In my free time I enjoy attending WVU football and basketball games with family and friends.

Clinical Orthodontic Assistant / Front Desk 

I truly enjoy connecting with our patients and team to ensure clear communication and a positive experience at every visit. Being part of each patient’s smile journey is incredibly rewarding to me. I love placing and removing appliances and watching the steady progress that happens throughout treatment. Seeing those transformations unfold is one of the best parts of what I do.

I’m always happy to encourage and support those around me, and I take pride in helping create confident, beautiful smiles our patients are excited about.

Outside of the office, I enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling to new places, and playing pickleball. I’m also excited to attend ECU School of Dental Medicine beginning in August 2026.

Clinical Orthodontic Assistant

As an orthodontic assistant, I am dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations in the office. With strong skills in patient communication, I help create a comfortable and welcoming enviornment for patients of all ages. I assist Dr. Bonafield with procedures, prepare, and organize tools, and ensure patients feel at ease at the end of their appointments. My goal is to support the team in creating beautiful, healthy smiles.

Watching patients smiles transform and knowing I play a part in their journey to better dental health motivates me every day. I enjoy connecting with patients, easing their nerves, and making their visits comfortable. Each patient brings unique story, and being part of that process makes my work meaningful and inspiring.

Outside of the office, I love spending time outdoors, especially kayaking and fishing, which helps me relax and connect with nature. I enjoy the peacefulness of being on the water and listening to music. Besides that, I cherish moments with friends and family, as their company brings joy and balance to my life. Whether its a casual hangout or an outdoor adventure, these activities keep me energized.

Clinical Orthodontic Assistant  

I love getting to know our patients while working with them. Learning about their interests and what they’ve been up to makes each appointment meaningful and rewarding. I believe that building strong patient relationships is an essential part of providing quality orthodontic care and creating a positive experience.

My days are spent changing wires, placing braces, taking X-rays, and assisting with a variety of clinical procedures. I also work closely alongside Dr. Bonafield during more complex appointments and support her wherever needed. Being part of this team has taught me so much, and I’m confident the experience I’ve gained here will serve me well as I begin dental school in August 2026.

Our team has worked hard to create a friendly, welcoming environment for both patients and each other. We’ve truly built a special orthodontic family here in the clinic, and I’m proud to be part of it.

Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and making memories with my friends and family.

I truly value patient interaction and strive to make every person feel comfortable and safe from the moment they walk into our clinic. Building strong relationships with our patients is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. Not only do I get to watch their smiles transform, but I also have the privilege of seeing their confidence grow throughout treatment.

In the office, I work in a hands-on, detail-oriented role that helps create confident, healthy smiles by placing braces, taking X-rays, and supporting the doctor to ensure each appointment runs smoothly.
I’m grateful to work alongside a team that is attentive, supportive, and always willing to help one another. Being part of such a positive environment makes me truly appreciative to be here.

Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active through running, lifting, and fitness classes, and I’ve always loved creative, hands-on activities like drawing, painting, playing the piano, and doing my nails
